Bookings at Ealing Quaker Meeting

Ealing Friends' Meeting House is used throughout the week by a number of regular users, but it is often possible to make one-off or occasional bookings.

Lettings Policy

Quakers have a testimony to equality - an unshakeable conviction that all people are equal before God, irrespective of race, religion, class, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental activity.

We hope our users will be in sympathy with this ethos and we will refuse bookings from any group or individual whose words or actions diminish the dignity of any person or group of people. The final arbiter in making such a decision will be Ealing Preparative Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

In accordance with our lettings policy, we may ask for some explanatory background (such as a leaflet or programme) from groups or individuals seeking to book for the first time.

Rooms Available

The whole meeting house may be hired, or any of the four rooms as follows:

The Library seats about four people and is suitable for counselling.
The Front Room is suitable for seating small groups of 8 to 10 people.
The Garden Room seats about twenty-five people, and can also be used for small groups needing clear floor space for exercise etc.
The Meeting Room seats about sixty people comfortably, and has a polished woodblock floor, which is often used for dance and yoga sessions.

Use of the kitchen for making drinks is included in the letting fee.
